I just don't hear anything unusual. The parts you suggest as EVP either don't seem audible, or sound like your daughter making background noises. Might I suggest cutting down the whole thing to loop the parts you believe are the EVP rather than having the listener sit through the whole thing? It would make it easier to listen to and we would know exactly what is you and what is the spirit.
Most of the EVPs were heard only after we had replayed the recording. Remember this was recorded way back in '02 and was our very first investigation. I would have to say that during this investigation, I could FEEL them talking more then we could hear them talking, understand? The knocking at the end of this tape was barley heard. One day I will have to go back to this house and see what has happen...one day soon.
Putting sub-titles up tends to "lead on" the viewer. It's up to the view to hear what they hear. That's how a paranormal investigation evidence should be presented.
totally understand but you are an experienced listener so maybe you shud put up 'evp coming up in 3 seconds'....or explain that the voice here is me or my friend.....i have no idea if the person speaking is an evp or not. I have no idea what's what. Im telling you that explaining what is being said is not leading anyone on
As far as the head pain, yes, no doubt some spirits leave such a signature to us. I've heard many people say they recognize a spirit is due to an overshadow in the form of head pain. I have the head pain you speak of often before evp, however, in the case of Virginia, the head pain seemed to not only indicate her presence, but a glimpse into how she passes away to better help be ID her. No doubt we all need to continue comparing notes on this.
Like Marueen, I also heard a scream early on. I was able to hear all the evps. It's great you were able to gain access to the home to further investigate the situation. LOTS of knocking, which I find often comes before the stronger evps. Very good work.
