its a great cover to be a like a "tribute cover" but i think if u didnt try to be the dude that sings it, and added your own twist it might be better. @ZackyMacks The "echo" you're hearing is called acoustics..... no, i do not mean the guitar.... I mean the room. EVERY room has a certain amount of echo.... this can easily be amplified by the mic, as it was in this case. No editing needed. the distortion is in his voice naturally. a lot of singers can do that. as for the reverb, that just adds to the "acoustic" sound, making the song sound more "full," because he's only one guy, and can't sound like an entire band.

Second, he DOES sound very similar to the actual singer, reverb doesn't change the sound of his voice, it just gives it a more full sound, to give the impression of being in a bigger room. @ZackyMacks He's 1 person in a normal (not sound insulated) room using a camera mic. Its completely necessary to use reverb to take away the ambient silence in the backround. basically filling the gaps to enhance the LISTENER experience. So when you actually know something about music please hush.
