Alex Lifeson is one of the best, if not the best guitarists in the world, because he doesn't just play the guitar, he knows how to utilize all of it's aspects. Geddy Lees Bass riffs will rip you're brain out of your skull because they're so amazing, not to mention he's an amazing singer.

@CheeseyMcTaco Jimmy "The Rev Sullivan" was an average-good drummer, but not one of the best, for some reason I don't know, since he died, everyone says he was the best, he was awesome. Face it! he was just another drummer with good skills, he was not the best, he was bad compared with other Rock/Metal drummers, he didn't contributed with nothing new in music.
By the way, Jazz drummers are pussy drummers? GOD! JAZZ MUSICIANS ARE THE BEST IN ALL! INCLUDING DRUMMERS. Man you're wrong.

Danny Carey is the greatest drummer ever. His drumming is so technical and he creates so many poly rythums it's crazy. Ya Neil pert and mike portnoy are great and fast. But Danny can play just as fast and he creates sequences that no one else has ever heard of.

Alex Lifeson is one of the best, if not the best guitarists in the world, because he doesn't just play the guitar, he knows how to utilize all of it's aspects. Geddy Lees Bass riffs will rip you're brain out of your skull because they're so amazing, not to mention he's an amazing singer.

@PhilConey1 if it wasnt for peart they wouldnt be as famous as they are i have all the cds (dad is a huge fan) even he says they wouldnt be. there guitarist are good but not as great as the drummer. and im sorry the singer sound kinda like coheed so its just wierd voice and his bass lines arent that amazing. and as for alex his guitar riffs are good but im pretty sure some people would be able to name him if i played it for them. sorry if u like them thats fine but they arent apealing to me.
