Millions of kids have divorced parents. Any problems "caused" by gay marriage (not that opponents can think of one example) would be miniscule in comparison.

I am from spain and in there gay marriage is legal since 2005 and I can tell you we did not destroy our traditional spanish culture. Same responsibilities, same rights.
Why do you say that gay marriage is a threat to family? I don't understand that argument. Because two gay guys live next door to you your son is not going to like girls, or decide to do drugs? Your daughter is going to go out and get pregnant as soon as she is able? Its an argument that is completely irrational. And those studies he speaks of compare two parent households to one parent households not against homosexual couples.
Just because something is tradition, it doesn't make it right. Slavery used to be a good tradition after all. And he seems to be saying the sole purpose of marriage is to raise children. Of course, that's why old people, infertile couples and couples that don't want kids aren't allowed to marry! They all repeat the same things, and each time you hear it being repeated, it doesn't make any more sense. I can't believe there are people this ignorant actually in the US government.
