you had heads and cams and got 389 rwhp? so its pretty safe to say that he only way to get real good power out of these cars is with FI huh? I just got a 2010 GT and i had a cam only LS1 before that made 423 rwhp and ran like a mofo

@USArmyZ28 I'm gonna call BS on that one fella. You're telling me with a cam alone, you got 490hp...a 155hp gain over stock? Suuuuuuuure.....With heads and a cam, this mustang got about 160 more HP, which is pretty damn good. I've got a best friend with a 99 Trans Am, cam, lid, kooks L/T, and he's getting 395 at the crank. Unless you've got a damn oil tanker cam...you're not being truthful.

@chamsdropz24 trex cam, headers pretty much everything minus heads. It made 423rwhp. You do know Cams vary in size right? Your buddy has a weeeaaaakkkk ls1 to make 385 with a cam. Bolt ls1 can make 360 rwhp

If you want to wake up your 3v motor and you are not N/A put these bad boys in your car, Comp Cams 127550. They awaken your 3v like NOTHING else. I have had such a good experience from them and I pick up MAD power above 2,000rpms. You need 3.73+ and you'll gain an easy 80hp to the wheels running 15psi or more. They lope like crazy and my Mustang shakes at stop lights and everyone stares, sounds like a NHRA drag car lol

@CmMustang03 They're sweet no doubt. But it's hard to find them in relatively stock condition and unmolested these days. Most of the ones I see for sale are heavily modified and abused. As cool as they are, I'm not picking up someone else's mess where they left off.
