@MrNativeDancer I agree with that whole comment besides socialisation with other dogs but only while there pups because after the 8 month mark the liable to wake up at anytime and using them as guard dogs. I understand they can be great at it but thats still training them to bite ppl. I'm just not fond of that with all the media hype going on and most of the time they don't know what the dog is. Scientific evidence can't always explain things for example shear will can't be explained by numbers and charts. Apbts come in different sizes so when they compare a dog of different breed to a apbt do they use a apbt that weighs the same or most near it? From what I've seen usually not. Apbts range from sometimes lows of 25-114lbs.

I have to say this and this is at Miss cedar bridge1. if you know anything about dogs you wouldn't be down rating any Mastiff type dog or a Molosser period, without the Mastiff a pitbull wouldn't be a pitbull. I have the ultimate guide on pitbulls and pitbulls have mastiff in bulldogs were also called pugnacious mastiffs. So knowing that pitbulls are more than half mastiff ans a bit terrier and hound. But if you exclude the mastifff in the pitbull it wouldnot be a pitbull.
Actually, neither dog was in danger. It would have taken the pit bull over an hour to kill the presa. The pit is the marathon runner of fighters- they win by wearing down their bigger, fatter opponents until they are too tired to fight back.

Pitbulls are tough but I can tell you from experience that my fila (around 140lbs) has absolutely two very stout pitbulls that got loose and came in our yard. The pitbulls seemed to be better fighters and maybe more vicious but the size and power of my fila was too much for them.

Ive seen very well bred dogs that cant match good and visa versa. game dogs lose 2 mouthy dogs & visa versa...too many individual variables.

Pitbulls are tough but I can tell you from experience that my fila (around 140lbs) has absolutely two very stout pitbulls that got loose and came in our yard. The pitbulls seemed to be better fighters and maybe more vicious but the size and power of my fila was too much for them.

@MissCedarbridge1 again, there r so many variables n a real match that things can go different ways. kangals r not very game dogs. aggressive but not 4 extended periods of time. any of these dogs can beat the other on a given day. it also depends on the dog itself as 2 its individual/personal character, traits, abilities. Ive seen very well bred dogs that cant match good and visa versa. game dogs lose 2 mouthy dogs & visa versa...too many individual variables.

@MrM4lik It wasn't a fight but the owners did nothing to correct the behavior. They just stood back laughing. That's why those types of dogs are not for everyone. You have to corral that type of aggression before it gets out of hand.

@promised01 I only attacked people that like dog fighting. There is no fuel to any fire for the simple fact that to me people that do this cruelty are worth = nothing. Dog fighting and anything that satisfies humans lowest instincts... is absolutely unforgivable. is so wrong that people go to jail. The dogs are just trying to get at each other this doesnt mean that the person in fact dog fights or really that these dogs were actually trying to harm each other they could in fact just wanna play.. My dog does this when he sees another dog because he wants to play not because he wants to rip the others throat out
