  • a better bio plastic is eco-light

  • This is called the Florida Weave method. Look it up. He is using plastic string because it stretches less later in the season as more weight from bigger plants is being applied. I use the same method on about 300 tomato plants, but I use sisal baler twine as I can't stand removing the plastic string in the fall. I also use biodegradeable plastic bulch called BioTelo. That normal plastic on the ground in the video all needs to be landfilled at the end of the year.

  • Very nice video, very informative. I enjoyed learning about how to tie up tomatoes and about all the different heirloom varieties that you grow. It would be interesting to see how you attach the steel rod to the wooden post and how you install them into the garden. I one thing I didn't like is the swearing. Otherwise excellent video.

  • @prairiepatch I totally agree, no need for the profanity

  • Ok so I love your videos but when tying them does the stem stay between the two lines? Like the first one being the line you just ran down the row?

  • make sure not to eat the green plant part of tomatoes or potatoes!
