i think the ravens are really smart to look for some floating free agent rookies every year. Especially at receiver, where high draft projections never guarantee success, its really smart to take the bargain rack guys in the late rounds and in free agency because they're almost as likely to succeed as the early round picks are anyway.

Look at Wes Welker, Marques Colston, TJ Housh, Hines Ward; the list of late-round or undrafted receivers who are productive in the NFL seems to be growing.

ive never heard of this kid, but he seems to have the two main uncoachable assets of a receiver: natural hands and a natural athleticism.

So the Ravens seem to have him for, lets say, a 30-day contract, you put him in practice, give him some reps, see if he's out of his element and if he's making improvements, and if he looks like he can handle it you keep him.
