@backinblack19 To be fair Ralph Nader wrote Unsafe at Any Speed in early 1964. I have owned 14 Corvairs & they are a cool car. Elvis Presley bought Priscilla a Spyder & she loved it. Heres the point I was driving my 60 & the axle came out of the transaxle. Chevy put the wrong clip to hold in the spline in 61 it was fixed. I had three of the ones I owned lift of the front & I grabbed the steering wheel to keep it straight but a lot of other owners did not know what to do & the car rolled.
all cars have problems i have 6 vairs now had 8 love them no problems like new cars ..they run an run an run .....

I had a 1966 and loved it.. i put in a 4 barrel carb with duel exhaust.
registered 115 mph with crap tires lucky to be alive.
had the same brakes as the 180 hp camaro.
when low on fuel.. and no luggage too light in cross winds. it had some
high speed problems but all a illegal speeds.
I wish I had one now with a 5 speed.
