Wow, Gianluca, this is a beautiful performance. I've listened to all of the YouTube versions of you singing this song, and next to the Boston performance, this is the best. It might even be better, but the Boston video is a close-up. You really put so much emotion into this. It's fun being able to understand the Italian, and therefore why you make all the gestures. Your meteoric rise to fame is no surprise at all -- how could anyone not respond to this incredible, gorgeous voice?

I too thought that he had Jessica Brandon as a girlfriend (the blond girl on some of his Facebook pages (in bikini)... but lately I found out that they're just friends and companions, but not "significant others". Apparently Jessica is somewhat of a singer in Italy that even has her own Wikipedia page.

He Texts and Tweets her whenever he gets a chance (which with his busy schedule... is not that often).

@ilvolover For some reason the IL VOLO folks want people to think all 3 won. But they were all competing individually (that's where they first met). From the very beginning Gianluca had all the judges smitten with him (as a 14 year old). Do a Youtube search on "Omaggio a Gianluca Ginoble" to see him winning. Also do a Youtube Search on "Ti Lascio New York New York & O Sole Mio" to see the 5 best contestants from the show (first 2 girls sing, then the 3 guys, then all 5).
