@johnnyw66 no, its all written by hand, thats the whole idea, it was meant to be a sort of engine so i could do other stuff in 3D, i didnt actually have any matrix code other than the Axis of the camera, which is what is used to localize each point via dot product. when i added lines and surfaces, i made them all out of triangles and had to make a custom logic function to cut each triangle and render only the half that is in front of the screen, but this took a LOT of cpu so it was slow :/

Hi there - check out my Lua/Love demos - you can see how slow my 3D stuff is (Synchrotron demo).
I wrote 3D wrappers to match Sony PS3 Home Lua SDK which is my excuse for them being a little slow - but I'm still a little green!

Your 3d stuff is much faster than mine. Are you using any 3d native plug-ins (eg. for Matrix ops)? Or is the 3d demo in pure lua/love2d?
