I love Paula Abdul she is great, she had kids inc. dancer Dee Caspery in her forever girl video. I don't know why they had to alter Stacy's voice or even if they did but she was a great singer on the show. They could of had it sound the same every time not just sometimes. But she is still a talented singer, so glad she got her life straightened out.

It seems like the Show stopped after this season for two years and the only members who got back were JLH and Kenny, so JLH was at least two years older in the next season.

She was 10 years old here (1989), then the show took a break or something and filmed the next season in 1991, so she was 12 then.

someone told me once..not sure if it was you, that they altered stacy's voice near the end because to make it sound younger. That's why it sounds so whiney...it's different than it was when she was younger and like it is now. I even heard the altered and unaltered version, and it really does sound different.

Why would they alter Stacy' voice to make it sound younger? That doesn't make any sense. Everyone who's everyone who followed Kids Inc knew that Stacy was about 14/15 here. They never changed Martika's or Ryan's or Kenny's or even Richie's voices, why her's?

I'm not sure. But someone told me once they did...and they had two versions of the same song. One sounded weird...kind of whiney almost, and the other sounded wonderful, like her own amazing voice. It was weird...can't remember the song though. I could be misinformed though, I just heard two versions of the same song.
