Yes! Thank you! When I think of metal fans, I don't think of whiny babies, but apparently I'm wrong in that. The "outcry" (bitchfest/pity party) this album caused is amazing. Band should evolve, if they don't, they stagnate.

I'm really liking the new album. That said, they could have easily dodged this whole shitfest if they'd released it as a side project.

Different doesnt specifically mean bad in metal - even though yes there is an inherent conservatism. However this album is not bad because its different its bad because its a confused grasp for acceptability, its lacks style, feeling and quality control. No sorry David Vincent isnt some clever iconoclast daring to break out of the death metal blueprint he is sad out of touch fool who thinks that being "open minded" means removing quality control and shitting on your legacy.

1. On 1:09 of the video you show a cover album which is from the band Six Feet Under and you are impling that this a Cannibal Corpse album cover.

Only from that tiny mistake you show to me that your relationship with Death Metal or even Metal in general is epidermic.

2. To say that Pete Sandoval sacking (at this moment in time none of the sides have confirmed this) was the best thing

When you say that you have not heard double bass drumming since Vade's Litany shows me that you have no idea of the Death Metal scene. You mispronounce alot of words dude, and you have terrible taste. Basically what I got out of your review is "this album resonates with my inner 13 year old, and it sounds different than anything they've done before, so it's good."

I'll agree with you that this album would appeal to angsty young teens, but every album prior to this one was much more extreme. I was waiting for an extreme guitar solo, or some extreme vocals through the whole album. All I got was stale boring riffs + mediocre vox.

He said maybe he will come back to Morbid Angel in a few years but is not happy with the creative direction of the band currently.

Every reviewer always says that you have to be "open minded". I have been listening to Morbid Angel since the early 90's. I also listen to Samael and accept their change from Ceremony of Opposites" and beyond although I didn't get all of their CD's after Ceremony. I also listen to some Mortiis too. To me they're good and this album still SUCKS!!!. At least the others don't seem like they're rapping and singing about killing cops.  I can only listen to 3 songs off this CD and that's it.

We all agreed that if someone gave us a bad review, we would beat up that reviewer, if possible. Or do something to ruin him. I can't speak for any band given an unfavorable review by Anthony, but I would hope that they realize such a review was truly deserved. If not, I have Anthony's back.
