I'm liking the slighty shakey camera. Gives it an edge, lol. XDD Got quite a good isolated sound of the bass even outside. Of course though, the riff was badass!
This is totally nasty!! I love your videos my man! I now feel inspired to start experimenting with picking on both my four and six-string axes....;-)!
I always really enjoy your videos, your lessons are great for beginners and veteran players alike trying to learn something new. Myself being a strings player (guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo) your videos give me inspiration to do more stuff with bass. I commend you for the fact that you always seem very professional. You would do very well in any number of the high class music clubs we have in New York.
Conagratulations, you are my playing my dream bass guitar. It's the exact one I've wanted ever since I've started. Hopefully I'll pick one up soon, just need to work and earn more money :)
Great playing, by the way. Very funky but also relaxed. Good stuff.
What kind of pick are you playing with? I tried a lot of picks but the only ones I can have some dynamic with less effort are the large, thin ones (.40 to .50mm)
@pczoide This is a Dunlop "Max-grip" 1.14 pick, and I´m playin with the "fat" edge of the pick not the "pointy" edge, learned the from Bobby Vega, you can play faster that way
@MarloweDK yeah thanks for answering, i asked because i wasn't sure if you played a C root or Ab root... though it sounded like C. I really needed to know because i'm really getting into playing chords on bass and learning them. Thanks.

Playing with a pick is not as popular as it once was, but I think it is an often neglected part of the modern bass guitar.
DDejon 1 year ago
@DDejon a needed modern part. most modern bass players sound kinda shitty to me
Ele3tricEye 1 year ago
at about 1:07 - 1:10 are you playing a chord? cause it sounds quite muddy...
and is the chord at 1:10 a C of some sort?
TehSorso 1 year ago
@TehSorso Yes , the two twonote chords at the end is a F Major (F, A) and an implied C Major (C, G)

Hi MarloweDK, do you think I should get a Fender Precision or Jazz? I like the sounds of the jazz bass, but I like the shape of the Precision ):
