  • Great video, thumbs UP.

  • @sangstar1 kool thanks

  • how is this thing still up and running on mars?

  • Many answers to questions that are answered not yet. And many things that are the same as here on Earth.

  • @fearmeufool I just received if answer. Sorry, my internet has not been working. I am glad he knew why!!! Well I do believe NASA could afford 16 bit telemetry...LOL don't you? They can hide many things with the 8 bit. ;-)

  • I wish it could've been in color, but since these are pictures from another planet, I certainly won't complain about it or look this gift horse in the mouth.

  • @fearmeufool Did u get the answer?

  • @tamiea7 he said " Perhaps because the camera is B&W? " i will ask again...

  • @tamiea7 better answer... he said "Lower telemetry rate B&W requires only 8 bits whereas colour 16 bits.

    Cheaper

    Higher resolution available.

The best way to do colour is to to have a B&W camera and put a filter wheel in front of it.

  • @fearmeufool I like his channel :-)

  • @fearmeufool It is some of the best footage yet. No color...so we cannot see details my friend, it keeps us in the dark!!! Well that is what they believe any way. Lol ;-)

  • @tamiea7 im working on that answer right now... Dr Keith Strong from NASA has a channel called The Sun Today... Great vids and even a better confidant....

  • Wow! Speechless! Awesome....

  • @tamiea7 some of the best footage yet, but why not in color...?
