@mrapter7 aka ios app store. They're making billions off of that so they brought it to the mac where they're making millions. It had nothing to do with Linux. Windows then copied the windows app store from the mac with IDENTICAL layout. Linux was first but apple had other reasons to 'copy' (from ios)
@WarpeaceWar6 yeah, i know i was making a connection xD. But yeah, i geuss what comes off to some people (me somtimes) is that for Mac, (who reinvent computing again and again, as much as a love PC's they contributed nearly nothing xD) if its not brokek, dont fix it, which is why they are so sucsessfull. I geuss thats why they brought iOS features here. Or brought the simplicity of the iOS system to a tablet :P. I love PC's but you gotta give Mac a lotta credit
only Apple can get you excited about "FULLSCREEN APPS"... come on Apple, it was stupid that you couldn't have a full screen browser on a mac before.... I mean I think it's great, but something apple should have done LONG time ago!!

@leebrendalee doesn't make a difference. Lion will run on it. apple probbaly won't release a new imac until next year anyways.
