serama is so small and fragile..letting them loose without human supervision will ensure troubles for them specially from predators..my seramas was attack by a rat last week..and rats in Indonesia is twice bigger than serama....after all they are the smallest chicken in the world.

@svetlanalupesku Most of the time yes. Letting them loose would ensure certain death by a predator in a matter of days. In the winter, I keep more fragile birds like this in a heated shed where I give them fresh food and water and keep them warm.
