I went to this show! I was standing towards the left of the stage. I remember Elliott being a little annoyed by the people standing right at the center of the pit though. There was actually plenty of room to stand in the pit area and yet people crammed the front of the area. This was the only time I'd seen him do Coming Up Roses. There was an award show done in August of that year at that same venue, I think the LA Weekly held it? That was the last time I ever saw him play live.
