I like both the new bonds films, but they really need to start going into their own (truly). At present it seems like a strange mixture between new and hackney.
If you're gonna be tough be tough. Don't cling onto days gone stylee because you're scared of taking the drive (completely).

Not the best bond film by any means but (and this is just my view) alot better than some of the Roger Moore ones, like Octopussy. Craig sticks closer to the original charachter Flemming created and personally I prefer the realism of the new one compared to the super villian and lairs of the some of the originals. Can't wait for the next one!
I do not understand: If James Bond has a gun silencer, how come he does not use it throughout? Same with the later James Bond pictures with Daniel Craig. In some scenes, they use the silencers, and in others, they don't. Wouldn't they always want them at their benefit?

QoS sucked, Casino Royale was one of the best, it had a very complex plot and it seemed to make sense. QoS was just a show-off of Special Effects, it was too over the Top.

Ok these Bonds are good, but I love the old ones how it opens up looking down the gun barrel and hearing the epic Bond theme. So if they bring that back that will be awesome. The problem with today is too many people feel they need to reboot a good franchise when it don't it (Halloween, Batman, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm street etc.)
I posted a comment about this film recently that may have been a little harsh. It had great action, but I dont thnk a Bond film should ever be a continuation of another Bond film. Also, I hated that the gun barrel sequence was at the end. This must be atoned in the next film. I really didn't think much of this film. Casino Royale was excellent though. For the next one, they really need to bring back the gadgets and wit, and put the gunbarrel at the start!!

This was a great Bond movie, they gave it an up to date feel, they didn't let themselves be tied down by the originals. I got sick of all the gadgets and Q, I am happy Casino Royale came back and saved these movies. The best 007 movies in my opinion are Casino Royale, Goldeneye, Quantum of Solace.
This film feels like a Bourne film, and not a Bond film. It should have been good if they made it longer, put Q and Moneypenny on it, made him say "Bond. James Bond." even for once, and put the gunbarrel sequence at the start.
But still, a Bond film is always worth watching. 3/5 stars for this film, then.

QoS sucked, Casino Royale was one of the best, it had a very complex plot and it seemed to make sense. QoS was just a show-off of Special Effects, it was too over the Top.

I remember Mike Wilbon (PTI) was mad that the line "Bond. James Bond," was not in the film. He said it wasn't "Bond" if he didn't t say that. Who the hell cares? There are plenty of bad 007 movies where he says the line. Adding it to this movie wouldn't have made it any better.

Wah i miss siena! I spent a summer there for broadcasting and got to see the palio and hang out at valdimontone, torre, and nichio where they filmed the movie for the intro... i made so many friends there its so sad to watch this movie!

Ok these Bonds are good, but I love the old ones how it opens up looking down the gun barrel and hearing the epic Bond theme. So if they bring that back that will be awesome. The problem with today is too many people feel they need to reboot a good franchise when it don't it (Halloween, Batman, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm street etc.)

I posted a comment about this film recently that may have been a little harsh. It had great action, but I dont thnk a Bond film should ever be a continuation of another Bond film. Also, I hated that the gun barrel sequence was at the end. This must be atoned in the next film. I really didn't think much of this film. Casino Royale was excellent though. For the next one, they really need to bring back the gadgets and wit, and put the gunbarrel at the start!!

This was a great Bond movie, they gave it an up to date feel, they didn't let themselves be tied down by the originals. I got sick of all the gadgets and Q, I am happy Casino Royale came back and saved these movies. The best 007 movies in my opinion are Casino Royale, Goldeneye, Quantum of Solace.

This film feels like a Bourne film, and not a Bond film. It should have been good if they made it longer, put Q and Moneypenny on it, made him say "Bond. James Bond." even for once, and put the gunbarrel sequence at the start.
But still, a Bond film is always worth watching. 3/5 stars for this film, then.
