This is an excellent review, thank you. I love the idea of the tag feature on the VIO, but opted for the GoPro Hero 2 as I think it will be easier for off roading.

I had a POV HD, but sold it and got the GoPro HD2. Much easier to use, better battery life and no anaconda cable. Plus better low light performance without fiddling with settings.

Hey roadcraft just recently brought a street triple and was wondering if there's a place you would recommend for accessories? Triumph dealerships tend to be a bit steep on price lol

@Blahdeblah52 Cheers. If they hadn't bought one out it wouldn't have been impossible to open the case and solder a mic on a wire to the built in mic I suppose. But you're right, it was a serious omission.

You forgot to mention the shocking battery life on the POV HD!!!

The dreadful mic..

And the sore fingers from opening and closing the back 300 times a day t oreplace batteries.

@bluenapalm123 I thought that but now I have the Duracell rechargeable, I'm getting 3-4 hours out of it. The back isn't too bad for me now with my stallone fingers but you can leave it off if you like, it's only really for waterproofing and now have the 12v power adapter in case I go out for a full day's training. It IS a good cam if you can overlook the inconveniences. :-D

don't know if you have used the Drift but isn't £400+ extensive for the VIO? Compared to say Drift for £120 with just as good quality? I have not used the VIO but I'm presuming at that price it shoots 1080p and can X-ray hehe. Great review.

@AZZ3R1 You're right, the vio HD is in my opinion overpriced and the Vio 1 basic is awful quality, it has a problem handling white balance. On the plus side it's really tough and reliable and the camera head is smaller than anything else. I'm lucky I can buy these through the business. I Like the X-ray comment lol

I been using the 7Day shop for years m8 for my photography bits and bobs. Looked at the VIO in the beginning but the drift got it on price and that's the only reason..Sounded like the cat does says hello lol.. Some nice gear there Russ!
