Rumour has it however that out of all 500 dogs rescued, only four were found to be considerably abused. They plan on releasing all but the four dogs back to the owner. I hope that is not the case as these puppy mills should be banned and those who run them should face serious penalties. Quebec needs to wake up and do something about this asap.

That happened in the town I live in: Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. I never thought something like that could happen so close to where I live, I always believed that this happened in places where they didn't have enough money... Here in Gatineau, we almost cannot feel the recession because of the government that is literally 5 minutes across the river. I guess some people don't have a sense of what is good and what is bad....I still cannot believe something like that happened here...
