I love the lively way Gareth Malone conducts the choir. In my opinion, his boyish looks & cheerful demeanor would put anyone at ease. As a teacher myself, I feel it's extremely important for an educator to connect with his students, treating them as fellow friends instead of subordinates. Although I don't know Gareth Malone personally, he comes across to me as a nice, friendly guy who gives lots of encouragement ... in my opinion, that would make him a good teacher. Way to go, Gareth! :-)
