You obviously weren't there when I played better than RC22Fires. I just got the way to play and later a better video card to have a decent FPS. My FPS was actually shit when I didn't record anything and everything was at low details, low res and tweaks done to use less FPS. And you can allow yourself to say I am bad? Far from your specs. Same box and I own you anyday. I am NOT impressed by the noobs that use these skins. I rarely call people cheaters but once I say someone is, I am usually right. They can do whatever they want. The only thing they do is cheat themselves. I know DaN#GW has used them.

I use lots and lots of skins, almost everything is skinned. None of the skins are advantage skins. my skins are just to make the game look better. not easier.

obvious advantage skins i don't think should be allowed such as bright orange sniper skins, but things like camo for tanks and cool looking missiles i think just make the game look cooler

I agree that those people were idiots using so many modifications it was unfair. But you have no idea what you are on about. Stealth skins DO NOT make stealth units visable from "half the map away". That is an objects hax as you have to edit the stealth distances in level edit then save the objects.ddb file. also you are grasping at straws, complaining about wall textures, and the green deadeye which isn't even a neon skin. why shouldn't people be able to modify the appearance? the game is old!

I agree some of the advantage skins are unfair, such as the bright skins for characters or the spongebobc4skin.But, The "colored" tank shell/missile shells give no advantage at all. That blue blood u described was not blood at all, it was a rocket splash from a person shooting from the tunnels. THe shell that u described in the last clip came from the turret and lastly, the shining reticle doesn't reveal anything through walls, it shone brightly because he was aiming at the PP... Try harder ;)

Some of the players shown in your Video are cheating. And for the shown Content, they don't use Renguard, because of their non-approved w3d-files.

AND not to forget, only the player who uses these Skins gets an Advantage. I will NEVER figure out in a Game what Skins others are using.

At last I must admit, I seriously fell off my Seat at home as I saw that the TRPM-Clan is offering a Torrent for downloading both Renegade Discs on their Homepage!

I don't know about your country but torrent are 100% legal in my country. My site hosts NO illegal content. I provide a link to a 3rd party torrent which is availible to those who need a "backup" copy of C&C Renegade. Ten million reasons why this is postitive, none as to why it would be a negative.

I apolgize for the rude words, you are right. A Torrent itself isn't illegal. But EA never released Renegade as OpenSource, neither as Freeware. So the only one who is allowed to DL those files the legal way is the person who has the original CDs and use the DLed files as a private Backup. We should keep that in mind. I miss this on the description on your Site.

Nevertheless, the Advantege-Vids are a good start for newbies ^^

I use some skins, but not really the advantage skins, most skins I use just look cool or funny... Like the Mystery Machine (I got that one) it looks funny and it's from Scooby-Doo. but I dont use it as an advantage.. people who use advantage skins just cheat on a kinda legal way, unfair it is. I agree with using the Pure Mode. I'm not an old player, but I very dislike client side advantages.

I started to play Renegade Demo since August 2005 with breaks. I got the full version in September 2005 if I recall. I never use any advantage skins of any kind. Those that need to use it are noobs. I have like 1000 screenshots to upload and you will not see that I use any skins. What I don't consider cheating is that you get a better gaming rig and own.

the only skins i have are the TS Nod Soldier and TS GDI Soldier. the GDI soldier is pretty much the same but the Nod trooper is smaller than normal, making it harder to hit. I also have the GDI Fenris pack which makes them harder for me to see in darker areas. so yeah...

clanwars has strict rules in place that doesn't allow advantage skins. Don't associate the 100's of players of clanwars with 1 retard who uses advantage skins. .H2O. is the most successful clanwar clan, and we basically run pure.
