@razr242 When you get your first piercing ever, its always recommendable to wait from 1-2 months till the piercing is fully healed. Then you can start stretching and stretch every 2-3 weeks from there. But its always best to wait an extra time just so you don't blow out you're ear
I started with long acrylic tapers and went from a normal earring hole to a 6g in just over 3 weeks, people say you can't wear them but its not true, acrylic are light weight and don't cause your ear to droup. And a lot of people don't know is to take a hot ass shower right before u insert you gauge, your pours expand and with a little lube you should have no problem putting them in.
just thought id say that it was quite a good tutorial and i found it kinda funny but also that tapers are only meant for stretching and not wearing so when they are inserted they should be followed by a plug/tunnel just to stop what he said about what happens when you use tapers
ive always been really opposed to gauges, but just cuz ur extremely attractive and u have ur brit accent, i kindaa want em now:P but i already have 5 holes lol.
actually those pinchers you used are worse than tapers because they do the stretch too quickly. the tapers are more gradual. you were right about not wearing them though but your not supposed to do that in the first place. What you do is you push the taper through and follow trhough with the plug. much better than pinchers (which is what you used)
I stretched my ear completely different to you... For starters, I started with a 3mm acrylic taper, it healed fine :L I didn't do any massaging/sterilising or anything, I just punched it through in school :L and besides now because I haven't got any bigger sizes, I didn't wait more than 3 days before my next stretch and I'm now at an 8mm
It looks like you went from 1 - 1,2 mm to 2,5 or so (correct me if I'm wrong). the steps should be as small as possible: 1,2 - 1,6 - 2.0 - 2,5 - 3,2. After those sizes you can also get glass plugs with round end in half mm increments. After a certain point, 6 mm or so it's better to use tape (PTFE or bondage) 1-2 wraps a week. Stretching should not hurt, hurting means tearing of tissue which can be a huge disadvantage in future stretching. Cheers!
Love the vid! And I think he does know what he is talking about! There is a thing called research which has obviously done before hand and is not making up a load of shit. You can know a lot about something even though you may not of done it. Some people need to calm down!

@DanSixTeeeSix I've been stretching my ear since november or october and I'm at a 8mm going to a 10mm tomorrow, using a spike doesn't make the hole uneven, if you use a light one, and not steal then its fine..
First off, my username is QUITE ridiculous so just ignore it, please? lol. the real names stephanie(:
But anyways, your accent--i just melted. lol. and your cute(;
lol, how big have you stretched to since this video?
Oh, to all the people hating on this, experience doesn't always mean you know everything. Research and advice from other people can do you wonders, thats how i learned everything.
You don't need to be giving out advice about stretching when it's your first time, plus most of the video you have no idea what you're talking about. Just trying to make a point.
@nickwillsk8formoney You're supposed to put an apostrophe in YOU'RE. As in YOU'RE a fucking dumbass. You piece of shit idiot. What do you even see when you look at the right side of your keyboard? There's more than just an enter button over there you fucking bullshit caveman cunt face. Fuck you, get a job.
These are his opinions on tapers etc, and btw just because they worked for you doesent mean they work for everyone, tapers can seriously damage your ears.
And steel is the best to use for stretching ad it has a bit of weight and can't cause infection if cleaned properly.
Your so cute and I love your accent!! But your facial expressions made me scared haha it helps if you use massage oil or what I use skin oil. Your ring you put in your ear, what was it it was called I watched it three times and can't hear it correctly because I suck haha xD
to start off im in love with ur accent well the ones ur using are called pinchers if ya wanna know ^.^ and i agree they are best but i used plastic one all i did was take some petroleum jelly and rub it on the pinchers and slipped it in my ear and it didnt hurt at all lol c: new way just sayin :PP
@nocuffinlexipooh you can use tapers just make sure u put the plug in after u put the taper in see atm i have my taper in cus i dont have a plugs for it atm so i have to keep my tapers in i believe hes probly meaning on the big big tapers that make ur ear like that just make sure after u use the taper u put in ur plug :)
Okay, so I started stretching my ear today aswell. Before hand I talked to a friend of mine who's a professional piercer. Despite what this guy says, you CAN use tapers. Once you have your taper inserted though, use it to put a plug in so you get a circular hole. Sadly I only bought the taper so I need a plug ASAP. But yeah, you can use tapers.
@georgiaastewart I did force it you mong, I've done it now, this morning infact. Why are you following my comments you turd? Seriously? FUCKOFF MY YOUTUBE ACCOUNT.
using a taper (spike) up to 3mm is fine, what he says about it making your ear a funny shape etc isnt true. sizes 3 or less arent heavy enough to do that, whenever you upsize use a taper or a ring like he says. when you decide to stay a certain size you can use plugs, tunnels, etc etc but you cant upsize using them.
Do you think I could start with 3mm from no piercing? Probably not the safest way to go, but one of my friends did that with a 3mm taper, and his turned out fine.
He's right about the tapers . The tapers are only to stretch your ears. After the taper is in ur supposed to take it out and put a plug or tunnel in. So to everyone saying he's wrong is on crack :/
umm actually, i went to a 2g in my right ear from a regular piercing, my friends went to 4g and 6g and have never had blowouts. tapers are good if you only use them for stretching. and if theyre steel. and a month between stretching is common knowledge. stretching with a pincher is a dumbshit idea, it will make your ear heal curved.
@PReTTySCuLLkaNDY i wouldnt do that. ive got 14s in right now and next week im going up to a 12, since yours is so little skipping to that would probobly hurt, and you wanna go up by increments of 2, so youd wanna go to a 14 next then a 12
Ur a pussy .. I went from regular piercing to 12 waited about a couples months cuz I never bought new plugs or tappers and thwent from there to a 8g to a 4g to a 2g in like 2 weeks. I'm at a 0g now. And it only took me like a month to get here.
I started out using plastic/acrylic 2mm spirals. After a couple of days i went to 3mm spirals. After about a week and a half i had 4mm ones. I didnt have any problems, except it hurt if you bashed it whilst it wasnt all the way through. (i put them in really slowly, spread it out over a few days) i use spirals bcoz they have are the longest, or it gradually gets fatter throughout the spiral, so its really helpful. They get a bit icky, but clear
I started stretching my ears at the very start of the year, i went to buy some and the woman said they only supplied 3mm and up so I stretched them with no problems. After a couple months, I got my mum to go down and get me some, (I hadn't washed my hair or something so I didn't go :L) and I asked her to get 4mm and the woman said "don't let her be a pussy' and made mum buy 5mm, I didn't use them though.
i used a tapper for my first stretch and i had no problems it dont matter what you use so long as you put it in your ear correctly and it does sting a little :)
This was a good video showing how you did your first stretch. I, personally, used plastic tapers right up to 4mm. I stopped at 10 and 4 and put stainless steel tunnels in to allow healing. At 6, I had a minor infection in one ear, which healed in a couple of weeks with glass plugs in. But yeah, never had a problem with the tapers, nor with the plastic, but I did take them out twice a day to clean.
Lol FLUFFY SHIT!

using a taper (spike) up to 3mm is fine, what he says about it making your ear a funny shape etc isnt true. sizes 3 or less arent heavy enough to do that, whenever you upsize use a taper or a ring like he says. when you decide to stay a certain size you can use plugs, tunnels, etc etc but you cant upsize using them.
