That is the classic 750il. (minus the side ground effects...not back or front and minus the Dinan on the back...it's a little Guido). Great car...exterior/interior color, wheels and setup. Almost perfect!
@MrRadjevic BMW didn't start turboing V12's until the N74B60(the current V12). I think that's the wone you're thinking of for twin turbo. That engine is only available in the 760Li. But I still like this E38, one of my dream cars actually.
Revving a BMW v-12 is terrible regardless of engine temperature. Dont post that its ok to revv cause you dont know. Revving may be fine in other vehicles but not a bmw v-12, if there is no load you can damage the crank. Also you will destroy the transmission. When you revv a bmw v12 in park it builds pressure until it blows.....I own a 750 and have done extensive research on this......you guys who post uneducated comments look unintelligent.
I like it! Im having a hard time deciding between the 750 or the 740i sport. My 1997iL is great, but I want something a little sportier. Been looking for a month now...
@haggman7 I am looking right now. Yeah bummer man, I have the money. In fact I have more than enough because I am wealthy and have an abundance of money :) I live this car, thank you for posting this video.
got a 97 750il...that thing 01' sounds like a beast!!iv hit 140mph and it still had more power..how does it feel wit the supercharger?how much did u did u pay for your supercharge?
What size tire combination you running on this car? I just bought my first E38 tonight. It's a 96 750iL and it has 245/50/18 all the way around. It has the "M" Motorsport wheels like yours....
This is my absolute favorite bmw. Wonderful that you have it tuned by DINAN. This and the 850 csi are my favorite BMWs. If you ever decide to let her go, send me a message or give me a call. 678-353-9059. Kingsley.
johnnyziho0 " id rather have m6" no shit but that will cost you 10 times more, the body on this is amazing it demands respect from anyone the new m6 kinda looks wack.
how much horse poweer does it have? i have one but i really don't know much about my car. im just glad that it can take me from my house to work going from 0 - 60 in 3.7 seconds.
They let guy next to me at the traffic light know not to f*ck with me....
U.S. model 750's did not get the V12 badges, only European Models did. I really did not like the look or location of the factory V12 badges that are placed on the "C" pillar behind the rear doors.
In Europe, the 750 never had any V12 badges (I don't know about the US, though). V12 badges on the C-pillar are aftermarket as well.
The only way to tell it's the top model was either by knowing what 750i/iL stood for or by identifying the little details (exterior: completely chromed kidney grille, glossy black b-pillar; interior: full leather dashboard/doors, wood veneer on B-pillar). I liked that subtle approach.
Always bet on black
