  • Nice!

I swear, before coming to YouTube I never received these kinds of compliments. Thanks! :) ;)

  • Surprisingly enough, I found the partial reading from the movie Equilibrium to be put forth in heavy sense and resonant with the characters of the movie.

I think it's cheesy but it's true from my perspective.

  • Beautiful reading. 5/5.

  • Thanks, man! I appreciate it!

  • My sister's favorite poem. Now I miss her. :-( But I'm seeing her tomorrow! :-) Very well read, mate.

  • Thanks!

  • Number one: Great video. Your voice fits perfectly with this great poem.

Number two: This has a huge role in Equilibrium (one of my favorite movies),

  • I have never seen that movie. Any good?

  • I think the movie is BRILLIANT. It's kind of an action movie, with a lot of drama mixed in. It's about the a future society where people take a drug to eliminate their ability to feel emotions. I HIGHLY recommend it.

  • That sounds like the kind of movie that I would enjoy watching. I'll see if I can get it.

    Thanks, mate.

  • Strong poem, excellent choice.

  • you are an intense man

  • Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

`Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!' I shrieked upstarting -

`Get thee back into the tempest and the Night's Plutonian shore!

Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken!

Leave my loneliness unbroken! - quit the bust above my door!

Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!'

    Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

-except from E.A Poe, 'The Raven'

  • Had I the prestige of a medal

formed in gold, bronze, or silver

I would place the honor around your neck.

But I, being virtual, have only

    a five-star rating system.

    Tread softly,

for you tread upon my stars.

  • Glad you liked it!

  • Great poem.

  • You look like Jesus. But only blond and without beard :)

  • That's my favourite from Yeats.

  • the first time i heard this was in that movie Equilibrium, and fell in love with it instantly =)

  • Very moving. I have 2 very old texts, lost in a box somewhere, called "The Viking Book of Poetry, of the English Speaking World" V.1&2.

You may like them, you may not.

  • Gorgeous :).

  • nice
