I'm afraid not... everything just sort of comes out on the spur of the moment, I never play a song the same way twice. I can tell you it's open G tuning, and most of the little riffs and stuff are just open string, 3rd & 5th fret.
Thanks - As to rhythm, even though you can't really hear it on this one, I think for me my biggest influence would have to be The Who. Pick up the compilation album "The Secret Policeman's Other Ball" and spend a few years trying to get down Pete Townshend's version of "Drowned" from that, it's pretty much the best rhythm guitar playing ever, and will give you something high to aim for.
Also, pick up the Who album "Live At Leeds" and pick through it for John Entwhistle's basslines... if you can get down *anything* that guy does, you'll be in good shape rhythmically. I particularly like jamming in "Shakin' All Over"... the bassline is simple but there's a lot of room to play with it.
Thanks a lot! Yeah, I wish I could go in and swap this video for a take with more light but keep the comments & ratings, but YouTube won't let you swap videos, you can only delete and re-port from scratch.
Yeah, I can, but I've got a huge backlog of videos to post, probably be a while before I get around to redoing this one... I'll put it on my list though.
Thanks man, always nice to get compliments from other players, especially hearing this from someone with so many great licks on their channel. Glad you're enjoying, and thanks for rating!
Nope, definitely not a professional... I think between the raggedy sense of rhythm and the inconsistent vocals my appeal is always going to be, er, 'selective'. :-) But thanks - yeah, I've been playing this one a long time, that's for sure.
Tough to know how to respond to that... I 'd sure rather feel like my videos were encournaging people to make their own, rather than discouraging them. :-/
I'll definitely do some instrucitonal video at some point, but it'll be a while, I think, I want to come up with something that's a little different than the million other instructional videos on here already. Gonna take some time to figure out exactly what.
I have been experimenting with open g tuning like you said and I also recently bought a slide and have been messing around with that a bit... I'll do a vid soon
I say to you three times: thank you, thank you, thank you!
I'm hoping that some of you other players who have been leaving such nice comments on my stuff will do some video responses... it's be nice to get a little back & forth going.

Superb like always, still waiting on an instructional video or two.....
I would leave a video respone but it would just be so inferior!
