My father became a school teacher in Digos Philippines and purchased his first radio pono and first 38 rpm of the Platters with this song in the late 50's.

In the 70's my uncle would tease my father because he was still listening to the same songs of the Platters while everyone was going Beatles.

My father is 85 now and still listen to the Platters among other oldie songs. He is the last one to quit using three flower pomade and to switch from leather to rubber shoes in our small town.
