okay lets be honest..When the band spins in a circle or lines up in diagnols in the opener we all know the SIDE STEPS are coming. Part 3 we all know there is a long note that forms a line or big triangle and marches forward for 16 counts. Part 3 is usually where run goes, but even if you could predict all of that, doesn't make up for some of the other crappy high schools inability to beat PHS in a contest. Maybe other bands just suck that PHS can repeat 3 FORMS!

I went to Roma High School. It's not doing that good as years past. Kids don't seem to have the same commitment or drive as when I was in high school. I hate it when people dwell on the past and think that if a band used to be good, or placed high at state it automatically guarantees first at competitions.. but unfortunatelly that is not the case. Other generations got confident and were kicked in the rear. I'm proud of what I accomplished in my years though. We got 4th at state in 2003.

Yeah Bochin believes that poteet is the only school in the world that doesnt use same material marching sometimes. oh wait everyone does. hell in 2001 poteet lost to a band (cedar creek) that used the same show and music for 2 years. Duncanville in 2002 and 2003 used some same marching material in thier show. everyone does it. now some people in here are taking his comments a lil to serious but i know where he is coming from but he even has to admit everyone does it. plus its a high school band

lol! I am soooo not obsessed with this band. I posted a simple comment about how your shows are always the same each year and people responded back. So, I am only defending my point. I never see your stupid show; it's like seeing your shows from 2005 and 2007. No point in watching, and less getting obsessed! lol! There is no obsessiveness possible out of your shows, unless you like repetition. Which, in my opinion, you love!

The judges LOVE us. And last time I checked, I don't think your opinions matter when we win State.

We're not boring. Our football games consist of people coming to see The Poteet Pirate Band. They come for halftime and then, they usually leave. You call that boring?

and as for our colorguard, we don't need to buy pretty flags every year to distract people from our bad moves, because we are the best in the state. and when we get a good flag we stick with it. its called tradition. =]

OMG! Seriously! YOU NEED TO CHANGE YOUR SHOWS!!!! Everytime I see a poteet show I honestly now pretty much what to expect as far as formations and colorguard.... OMG Colorguard !!purchase new ballad flags... those purple flags are sooo old... and before you start telling me off.. saying that you still win and shit... don't get me wrong.. your shows are well excecuted.. but as far as entertaining.... you guys are beginning to bore us... spice it up guys... best of luck in the future!
