The commentary is awful...god forbid you should lose yourself in the wonderful performance and music . If these two were seated next to you ,you would get up and move to another seat. All they do is put themselves between Plushenko and audience . This type non stop chatter is killing televised sport.

I agree with Kalmarimummeli about the commentators - it's like they don't understand what they're talking about, and they're going on about all these things that are obvious to anyone who knows their stuff and for those who don't - well, does someone need to be telling them the names of all the leaps and stuff, when they could never understand how difficult they actually are?
it is ok when they are commenting on the moves so someone who wants to learn about them can get familiar with their names and how they should be properly executed. but when a commentator starts conversation during the show, it's just irritating. they don't let u concentrate on the skater's expression, the movements and the overall performance. too distracting :S
While watching this video I once again remembered why I've never liked American commentators. I mean how can they rate the programme if they're not concentrating on the music 'cause after all, the music IS a huge part of the programme (or at least it should be), and this music is just so superb! I just find myself disliking every commentator (whether American or Finnish) who won't be quiet during the programme.
