That's only because no other country has teams good enough to compete in the MLB (or the NFL, NBA, or NHL for that matter).

Before you get your panties in a twist, I prefer to watch the World Cup Football (note how I didn't call it soccer) over any of these American "world championships." Maybe because I'm not American.
