I read somewhere that Sonny Terry may have met Lee Oskar before his death and adopted Lee's harp in Bb as his favorite harp over his previous preference for Hohner Marine Bands. I don't know if there was any validity to what I read since it was web content I have not been able to locate since. I can't stand my Lee Oskar Bb but I love my Bb in Special 20 and Seydel 1847. I love my Lee Oskar Dm Natural for one song I love to play along with.

i once played with sonny terry when he was over here down in cornwall,that was a long time ago,he had a marene band in a,and i had an echo super vamper in a,and we did po boy,i was telling him it was the first song i learned on harp,what a privilege that night was.but i did hear he changed to lee oskers,but i cant remember were,thanks again quinoacat,and keep up your good work my freand.tony.
