  • At 4:23...does it really need to be raised that high?

  • @GrandMasterFreshMpls The FSSP is in full communion with the Church.

  • @GrandMasterFreshMpls The FSSP is in full communion with Pope Benedict XVI and celebrates the Sacrifice of the Mass in the form that has existed largely in the same form for 1500 years. That is about as Catholic as Catholic gets.

  • @pj100003 Sorry, idk why I included the FSSP. I know it's in full communion with the Church and that it's old schoolx1000

  • @GrandMasterFreshMpls It's all good :) God bless

  • To set the record straight for everyone, the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) is not a cult or sedavacantist, and they do not reject papal authority. I'm a member of an FSSP parish. They are by no means heretics, fanatics, or rebels against the Church. They love the Church, and serve her with apostolic zeal and charity. They are fully Catholic and under the Pope. If you don't believe me, check out their ordinations, which are performed validly by the diocesan bishop.

  • @EndtheGewWorldOrder Please. do. not. tell me. that they. consider. this. as CATHOLIC MASS? I couldn't even recognise it!

  • @assasincomedy I did not mean this video, the videos WorldOrder gave.

  • Sounds like a great parish!

  • @HyacinthXVI --every preist is supposed to be Traditionalist but some are more rebelionist.

  • No the SSPX is not outside the cult

They accept the anti pope and just resist everything he does and says . It's not a Catholic position at all .

The alleged excommunications were lifted as if never happened . You are

    preaching deceptively DAAAA KBOrgan

    Get it straight .

  • the FSSP- Im guessing they arent seda vecante.. what is the difference between them and SSPX? I heard that SSPX is not lets say outside the church, but isnt in full communion with the vatican too??? like the easterners?

  • The SSPX is outside of the Church. The Bishops are now in Communion with Rome, but have no cannonical status.

The FSSP was founded after the shicsem of the SSPX.

  • @SempirVeritas So the FSSP are not sedvaticantists nor traditionalists. Just Orthodox conservatives.

  • Weren't American bishops quietly ignoring Pope John Paul II, of happy memory, when it came to the Tridentine liturgy. Now they'll try to ignore the present pope.

  • @fmorgana They did, and they are/did trying, but it is not in the Bishops hands, put mostly the faithful's.

  • It was great to see a Roman-style chasuble after all these years. Why were these abandoned after Vatican II? Formerly they were pretty much always used. (But is blue a liturgical color?)

  • Auctually that is Purple. Blue is an unofficial Liturgical color for Marian Feats, not auctually approved by Rome, I think.

  • Some Priests used Roman style Chasubles in the Novus Ordo, but the SSPX which continued the Tridentine after Vatican II unitl the 1988 excommunication used/still use Chasubles.

  • I think it's purple, not blue.

  • So much the better.

  • Agreed.

  • Also in the Netherlands you can find Tridentine mass, every sunday high mass , st. Agneskerk, Amstelveenseweg 163, Amsterdam. Go from the Central Railway station by tram 16 to the Haarlemmermeerstation and there you'll find this church, served by the FSSP.

  • To think that something so beautiful is somebody's regualr worship of God is amazing.

  • Eine sehr schöne Messe!!

God bless you for this nice video

  • The Extraordinary form at St.Marthas has become so popular that the FSSP and the Diocease to which this belongs opend up a FSSP Chapel in Sarasota.

  • Hey chaps! If the priest here is using the Missal of Pope St Pius V, 1570, only then can this be called "Tridentine". But then this church would not be in communion with Rome. I suspect that they are using the Missal of John XXIII, 1962. THis is the Extraordinary Form of the ONE Roman Rite (Summorum Pontificum, I:i); in this case they would be in communion with Rome. Smashing job! Beautiflul:)

  • That thurifer's holding the thurible wrong, and his empty hand should be held against his chest

  • Abla Englesia Por Favor.

  • omg thts my church my graduation was ther sniffle haha GO SARASOTA!!

  • lol, they are looking to an organ...

    pfff

  • Fr. Fryar assisted at the altar at a Pontifical Nuptial Mass for a wedding our schola sang at in Corpus Christi last year. He is a very focused individual, but he projects a palpable devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. I believe the combination of reverence, precision, and awe he displays could convince a pagan visiting Mass that he has just experienced something majestic.

May God richly bless your parish.

  • i love the tredentine mass so very beautiful

  • In the Netherlands it is possible to attend a tridentine mass everyday at noon in the St. Agnes Bassilica Amsterdam where there are 2 fssp priests available.

  • It isn't a basilica.........

  • Formally you are right. It is inspired by the 7th century basilica San Agnese - fuori - le -mure in Rome.
