Dude play the original games and then comment! In streets of rage 2 in the elevator you versus bosses as well as normal grunts at the same time!

I thought SOR remake was going to be a good game, but after I played it, I promptly deleted it for being complete rubbish. The game is full of ridiculous bugs that should have been fixed YEARS ago. Like this video here, the clock keeps running whilst shiva flaps his pie hole, wasting the laughable amount of time you have left to beat him.
Other irritations are horrible hit detection (if you aren't within 0.001 microns on the vertical axis of the enemy, you can't touch them.)

What? Its not canceled. If you look in the forms, there has been small updates that get posted about every 2-3 months. V5 has been in progress for about 3 years now.

Just download it from the Bombergames website (currently at v. 4.01) and install it on your PC. Joypad support is spotty, but should work fine for any Windows-based joypad. If you're using an X-Box Street Fighter pad for instance, you may need to download Xpadder and assign keyboard strokes to your joypad buttons, otherwise SOR Remake won't recognize them. '
This isn't a true remake, it's some kind of mix between SoR (levels) and SoR2 (characters design) with a few stupid things added (new items, increased speed, etc). Not impressive, they could do much more with SoR potential.
Streets of Rage is the greatest game of all time. I remember playing it back in the 90's, the megadrive/genesis was the shit. I have to download this.

It was a good remake but the ending ruins the game for me. It takes about 3 hours to get to the ending and the good ending comes down to a 99 second timer.
It's almost impossible to beat the elevator and Super Shiva in 99 seconds flat...one mistake costs you the proper ending...pretty lame if you ask me.
Maybe if they reset the timer at Shiva it would be more do-able, it wouldn't make sense but at least it'd be a bit more fair.
It's not impossible. I've been playing the game for the past month and only got the bad ending once.
There's little tricks you can do on every single type of enemy to beat them easily. You especially need to use them on the enemies in the elevator.
MGP1337 took way too much time on Souther, which is why he didn't have time to beat Shiva. If you beat the guys in the elevator quickly, mainly Souther, then you never have to worry about having time to beat Shiva.

It was a good remake but the ending ruins the game for me. It takes about 3 hours to get to the ending and the good ending comes down to a 99 second timer.
It's almost impossible to beat the elevator and Super Shiva in 99 seconds flat...one mistake costs you the proper ending...pretty lame if you ask me.
Maybe if they reset the timer at Shiva it would be more do-able, it wouldn't make sense but at least it'd be a bit more fair.

It's not impossible. I've been playing the game for the past month and only got the bad ending once.
There's little tricks you can do on every single type of enemy to beat them easily. You especially need to use them on the enemies in the elevator.
MGP1337 took way too much time on Souther, which is why he didn't have time to beat Shiva. If you beat the guys in the elevator quickly, mainly Souther, then you never have to worry about having time to beat Shiva.

The remake sucks. Dude b careful when u beat a boss at any stages, cause when u beat a boss at the end of the level the stage clear doesn't show up n the game will do NOTHING!!!!
