  • sounds great ... doing a 224/236 114 this week.

Are you running with the cut outs open during this entire vid?

  • @brantley847 I believe so, Thanks for the comment. Its a great cam setup for light head work and higher compression. Lacks a little up top but has a huge power band.

  • should had went with a 112 lsa or 110

  • @toyotafreak2000 why is that. High compression + nitrous.

  • @radd2983 I went with a custom grind with a 114 lsa on purpose. 112 doesnt work well with nitrous and high compression.

  • ..BEAST.

  • whats your compression ratio on this engine?

  • @arleenm69 almost 12:1

  • can you run this cam on a 2500 stall?

  • @Greeneyeddevl My car is a manual but from experince with some autos i dont think it would be a issue.

  • what gears do you run on that camaro?

  • @arleenm69 4.11 strange 12blt 33spline axles

  • oh lsa 115

  • Cam, longtubes, and what else? What pistons, bore, and whats done to the heads?

  • @SALMONSLAYER06 Stock bottom end built top end 1.6 rr beehive ported heads - heads milled to raise compression to roughly 12:1

  • @radd2983 Hey If i get the exact cam for my 94 Z28 LT1 would i need to change anything in the transmission? its a stock Automatic 4.

    Thanks

  • @miamibitch305fl It would work well with stock other then Valve springs. They need to be upgraded. I would consider a few things to compliment the cam though. 2800 stall, 1.6RR & Pushrods, Headers, Port match the heads and intake to the intake gasket.

  • @radd2983 Port Match?? im was looking forward to something more simpler then that. now i have to take my heads & intake to a professional shop to get them done?? and pay idk how much??

  • @miamibitch305fl When i say port match its something you can do! You take the felpro gasket for the intake and center in where it goes on the head. You will notice excess metal on the inside of the gasket. Mark the excess with a marker and then using a die grinder, grind away the excess metal

  • @radd2983 Repeat the procedure on the intake manifold. This is something that is optional and you dont have to do. You can always take it to a shop and get your heads ported and they will do the same thing with a CNC machine.

  • @radd2983 Did you do your yourself? and how did you tune it? can that be done by myself?

  • @miamibitch305fl I ported my heads. You have to get it tuned. Pcmforless . co m does it for about 200.

  • Sounds great man, what kind of cat back are you running?

  • @MichaelMisanthropist No Cats, 1 7/8 LT to a 3 ' Runner then back to a QTEC cut out and a Flowmaster to quiet it up a bit when QTEC is closed.

  • that is beautiful

  • Loud and Slow!

  • @floymaster Yep real slow

  • *long lol

  • @rdbc92 Pacesetter on ebay for 250

  • @radd2983 kool bro btw ur car sounds sick i want mine to sound just like it!! lol and nice donuts haha

  • @radd2983 i just got the lpp style headers off ebay. can't wait. again you car is nasty

  • how much do lung tube headers cost?? i wanna put some on my 95 z28 :P

  • Nasty, nasty, nasty. Lloyd Elliott setup?

  • @RayMitchum3 Similar to one of his setups but no its my own setup. I ported the heads and got a custom grind cam from Comp per my setup.

  • @radd2983 whats your Cam grind? if you dont mind me asking

  • @miamiforlyfe I called comp cams and had them make a cam for me per my specifications. Its a 224/230 536/550 114LSA

    @.5

  • @radd2983 you happy w/ there specs and recomendations? i called them to for my maggied truck and the rec. 228/240 571/590.....feed back good

  • @767dag Comp Cam has papper recomendations. This means they usually read from thier cam tests on similar builds. I came up with my cam specs because im fimilar with the motor. The cam i purchased was custom grind.

The cam specs you posted up look good for a truck. The long exhaust will give some extra torque but cut back on. The large amount of lift will be a nice hp gain but you need the springs to support the lift.

  • sounds sic man I just got a 224/230 comp cam for my commodore ute

  • 315/35/17

  • nice car what are the rear tires to me they kinda 315's

  • sounds amazing

  • one of the sickest lt1s ive ever heard

  • thats a true BEAST!

  • Camera's mic and youtube's sound doesn't give it justice.
