"Something to Remember Me By" was originally written by Wagner and Cooper in the late '70s, around the time "I Never Cry" was written. The song was not used sooner due to Cooper's inability to sing the part. Ezrin convinced Cooper to put it on the album because it was "the prettiest song (they had) ever written." Cooper says that his recording was very difficult but heartfelt.
Absolutely brilliant. Even more proof that Alice Cooper is one of the greatest musicians in all of rock. He can shock, he can rock and he can break your heart all in one album.
@Mephproduction if it was never recorded why is it being played because the sound is way to good for an unrecorded song but I do agree about it great he still going because his music is original
@zoou235 What i mean was the song was written for the Goes to Hell album but he never recorede it at the time, Alice says he didn't think he was good enough to sing it., So when Nightmare 2 was in the works they decided to revisit it and try again. So it's not a new song, it was written in the 70s.
this reminds me so much of the classic 70s Alice, like the days when music wasn't a forum of torture Thank god Alice is still preforming hes the best its great he was finally put in the hall of fame
@towarka91 Nope, it was written for the 'Goes to hell' album but he never recorded it. Alice say he felt he was never good enough to sing it so they never recorded it until now
@creepyfreak88 Thats because alice and dick wagner made this song back in 78 right after the first nightmare. alice just couldnt get the pitch of it. so they kept reworking it and here it is :)
Huh. Who'da thunk it? I've only heard a couple of his old songs, and he sounded real rough. He's got a nice voice here; never would guess he's in in 60s!
Great Song!

Ozzy said in an interview that Alice is schizophrenic. The pot calling the kettle black.

Is it strange to cry while hearing an Alice Cooper song? If it is, I'm strange, too (:
Hope you will not leave, Coop<3
