Re: Trial 4 - focus attack > H punch > Yosokyaku (3x)

are you suppose to fully charge the focus attack? in the video, the H punch only hits once, and Dan flies high into the air falling backwards. Whenever I try it, Dan doesn't get as high into the air, and he goes into the position where he's about to land on his feet, and not on his back. Spent 2 hours trying to crack this, but I am clueless as to what i'm doing wrong. Any suggs, will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Seth's 4th trial is just all about the timing. To link the HP to the double Sonicboom you need to do the sonicboom exactly when your opponent takes the hit from that heavy punch. Right after the second sonicboom hold down the buttons for the focus attack so that it has just enough time to charge for having your opponent stunned. Keep practicing you will pull it off.

also you have to hold the FA like a split second because you want that to get to level 2 for the crumple or else you cant do your ultra.

i kept getting a super instead of an ultra for the last trial. i did it like 3 times in a row and then got a super instead of an ultra. its so freaking annoying lol. i have to say though, considering the magnitude of moves and the deepness of his playstyle, his trials were very easy in comparison to some other characters who have much simpler playstyles (cammy, rose, gouken, etc...)

the trick is to do the first QCF before the HK

so its like QCF HK then QCF HP

do hado motion on d-pad or stick plus hk, then finish it with another hado motion (d+df+f i believe or 236+hk 236+Punch). It basically cancels out the hk into the distortation opps i mean super special.

Can some body please give me some advice. I am stuck on trial number 4 normal, the last combo which is a focus attack into crouched heavy punch into 3 yosokyaku's. I cant hit him with the Yosokyaku's after the crouched heavy punch he blocks it as i do not get it off in time. What might i be doing wrong?

you have to perform the c.HP early so that the last hit is the ony one that hits dan, its the hit frame that launches him into the air. jump immediately after than and you can down+mk combo off it

Don't cancel the crouch heavy punch, after you launch him in the air with the second one, jump immediately and then perform the Yosokyakus. Hope this helps.

Yeah, wow. Guess there is no point in doing the ultra as part of that combo unless that tiny bit of dmg would get a K.O. You would be better off doing it when you can do full damage. :(

If you're talking about the 3rd hard trial, it's not an infinite. The vacuum attack he uses between the hard punches takes 2 bars of super, so you can only use it twice consecutively.

a little yeah because the cpu is not moving while practice,when u battle another player,he wont stop for you
