hm now you changed your whole promblem... well i would suggest if you have dead ringer to go at the engineer get yourself shot to fake your death near a dispensar then stand on top of despensar. you should have infinite cloack. while on the dispensar observe your area and then when you find a way to beat him start trying to kill him or sap him(i recomend using normal knife) declock and quickly kill engineer and then pull out sapper to start sapping everything. if you fail then just get

@censored110 The backstab does 120 (The crit) damage + 600% on the targets current health. The 120 damage is the knife making a critical hit. Since crits are disabled on that server, the backstab does not crit, and does not make an animation.

@roger09doger depends on the situation. if your just moving backward on a staircase and hoping you'lll get a kill then thats not the case. If you notice in some of stabbys videos he usally finds a way to suprise the enemy by going around a corner of a staircass and jump stabbing or sidestabbing the fucker. also depends on the enemy since you said bleeding items usally killed you im guessing you got killed by scouts and snipers.

@TheTrollface88 snipers are easy at killing if they dont have a machine gun. if they do just run behind a corner and suprise them even if your not good at side stabbing you can deal them damage and confuse them. scouts are the same way since when you retreat from battle from them they expect you just keep runing and makes them more vulnurable to side stabs. if a m1+w pyro comes at you. you can easily sidestab them since they move forward. I'm surprised the soldier at 5:00 didn't get a rocket off by the time you stabbed him. In my experience soldiers are the hardest to trick-stab, because they tend to just one-shot you if you're in close range and don't have DR up.

How can I fake retreating to my "teammates"? Going straight towards them as anything but engineer makes them shoot at me. And if I try to look at the opposite direction I can't see where I'm going and I bump into them, which again results death.

Often times I run into very predictable yet annoying DR spies and as soon as I activate or see their DR activate I see the smoke from them disguising, does that happen to me if I immediately switch disguises after activating DR or is it a disguise script that's causing them to do that?

I only used DR and my Strange Knife, and kept, like, going in a circle in the castle.

First, I feigned my death and went up the stairs, grabbed that ammo case to recharge, leap stab, run back there, and if anyone was following me, I used your side-stab/illusion method on that corner, and repeat!

@Stormburn13 I've seen that kind of stab several times I've done a couple myself. Stabby probably hasn't shown any because these stabs are more situational than most stabs. Very situational.

They're essentially unorthodox stairstabs.

That jump stab at 5:30 was the first time I've seen you do something like that (the immediate turn around; normal trick stabs aren't that misleading). Was that a sort-of improv stab, or have you been using it for a while and we've just never seen footage of it yet?

It seems like after making a good stab in a hot zone you need to know how to pull off some good trick stabs (counting everything that isn't run up behind someone and sever their spine) to be able to kill your persuers, or you won't be very effective. So now I have to ask, how many spy hours do you think it took you to reliably pull off stairstabs, overhead stabs, etc.?

They often complain about not being able to do anything until they get the first stab (which they can't get), and just label it as a bad weapon. I honestly don't see why; even without that first stab, it makes chaining stabs so much easier, you almost never have to worry about your health, and extinguishing flames is incredibly useful. It even lets me chain easily under Heavy fire. What do you think about it?

Not only you but i see all good spy players are using the Ambassador. Im wondering what you think about the Enforcer and why you're not using it. Because it's overpowered like most people say, or simply you find amby more effective? I heard that Enforcer is banned from some leagues too, so that's one of a reason more i guess.

@POZDRAW Because as great close combat defender the enforcer is i.e:Enforcer with spy-cicle,The ambassador with some aim is excellent in close quarters too(thus u mainly wanna bait and trickstab in close quarters)the ambassador gives you long range potential too,its very accurate,you can take out engis very easilely from afar same for snipers or even medics.Headshots are harder to pull off but way more effective than the enforcer

@K0ragg Ye.. amby is awesome for long range, but what i hate about amby is that HUGE crosshair while cooling-down. Thing that people forget about Enforcer is that gun is a great tool for taking down the buildings, you can take the sentry lvl 3 in a couple of seconds. Both weapons got ups and downs. I played enough with enforcer and it's awesome for close range ONLY. Now im gonna switch to amby and stick with it a bit longer to see how is it going. Wont be bad for sure, especially long range :)

There is a platform up top that you can jump from and practice airstrafing all the way down, there is also a launch ramp and pretty much everything else to help your technical spy skill.
