That's the third episode I've seen Gordon look directly into the camera. Interesting that he's the only one to do so.

@r0bw00d Commissioner Gordon wasn't the only one to look directly into the camera. Batman and Santa Claus look directly into the camera when Batman & Robin greet him during a batrope climb. It was a Christmas episode featuring Andy Devine in a cameo as Santa Claus.

Thank God this was the first, last, and only time this creep was Mr. Freeze. Guess he was such a perv and a jerk that the cast and crew only would work with him once. And all those damn 'wild's! I don't know if they were written that way in the script or that was just the actor being an ass, but they were getting on my nerves.

I've read stories of Otto Preminger on set. Everyone hated him. I'm sure those "Wilds" was his personal touch he insisted on, because neither George Sanders or Eli Wallach ever used that phrase in their versions. That was something Preminger probably insisted on, and they just went with it to shut him up. Sanders was definitely the best version of the three.
