The video is wrong about the name of Prince Charming..the ONLY prince in the oringal fairy tales..who HAD the name of Prince Charming was CINDERELLA'S prince. Even Trixie Belden&Ross Petty Productions got that right.
@PrincessofEllabur still they were so lame and almost the same to the ponit everyone calls them all the aka prince charming no one recalls there names because they were not like a Aladin or a Naveen that was their point they know their names they work there
@foreveralwaysQT sorry but in the oringally freakin' tales. Only Cinderella's prince has that Name of CHARMING. NONE of the other Princes even HAVE names. So people shouldn't be calling The Prince in Snow White "Prince charming" when they are WRONG. or they shouldn't be calling The Beast-in-human-form "Prince Charming" either.
You know I just thought of something funny. They say that Julia Roberts and Tom Cruise thing right? Well that was for that era in the 90's. The wonderful wonderful 90's. But now even though Tom Cruise is still going strong, who else thinks that had Aladdin been made now it would have been Angelina and Brad and not Julia and Tom. Cause I see that.
It's amazing how millions of people all over the world love this movie but can't spell its title to save their lives. It's A-L-A-D-D-I-N. Get it right.
I don't think these artist realized that they just modeled what Avan Jogia is going to look like :) If you don't know Avan Jogia is an actor from the show Victorious and he looks JUST like Aladdin! i'm serious if there was ever a broadway or live action Avan would be perfect. Even his hair looks like Aladdins
Those drawings are simply beautiful. Who ever is looking into animation for a career, don't be like me and give up on it. You'll be here sitting watching youtube like me wishing you went for it :(
The meeting the guys are having with roy and jeffrey katzenberg, id wish they put that, along with other behind the scene stuff and interviews on a dvd, things that wasn't on waking sleeping beauty. Do you know if this meeting is on a website or clip on youtube
It's crazy how much power and influence a movie artist has in the world. Alladin is my favorite movie because the compatibility of the characters is PERFECT - and this would never be the case if they looked any different. The facial expressions, the movements, everything the artist creates contributes to the influence of the movie.
honestly. thank you Disney for being so amazing <3
I wish they sold all the disney princess movies on DVD again, I have most of them, but theyre on VCR, so I can't watch them anymore. I love all the disney princesses, and I grew up watching them practically everyday. I Still love it now, probably more then before, and I'm 15 <3 I want Disney to sell them on DVD or itunes! I'd be the happiest girl in the world :)
@Cutiepie747 They sell a lot of disney movies on DVD's now, but many times they go into "the vault" so you have to wait until disney releases them again.
Or check on Amazon! You can probably find most of the DVD's from people selling the.
Being French, in the beginning of the video, everytime they talked about Jasmine, I thought they'd said "Jazzman", and was like "what the hell are they talkin' about ? There's no musician in that movie !"
Wow, they used a computer for the carpet! How they did that just blew me away. For once, I am very impressed with how they used the computer to help them out.
i don't understand why a lot of people stick prince phillip in the boring price charming category. i know he's an early prince, and thus isn't as developed as say aladdin personality wise, but out of the early one's he is the ONLY one with some sort of personality! i really like him
I have one question about these behind the scenes works. I know we get to see the painting of the final film, but do any of these behind the scenes on DVD have an actual filming of the inking and painting. It would be nice to see it on this one.
it's amazing how the animators of disney are challenged by the times of technology and managed to find insight to develop the desired product. like the carpet for example, of course animating it by hand would be a pain in the ass, and computer generating it the whole way would not look as good. therefore layering and merging computer and trad. animation together made the carpet look stunning and real. :)
@MonsterDawsonFan69 My mom was too, but my name is not Jasmine! My film study teacher jokingly said that my interest in Disney animated Movies actually started during my fetal development, since like many fetuses I was able to hear outside sounds XDD
i am a guy, and i'll say this....3d animation is not bad....there are good pixar films. and disney's new film tangled is pretty good...and it has more heart than the recent animated films....a good addition to the disney classics like aladdin i would say....and it even beats it in some aspects....for one thing rapunzel is a cooler heroin than jasmin( and she kissed a villain too, every night she kissed gothel goodnight:P)
