I was nearly a victim of a scam at work whist working on the drive thru:

A guy came in and paid with a $20 note, I gave him the bag of food, then got change needed and handed it to him. He then he questioned it and said he gave me a $50 (I had no doubt in my mind that he gave me a $20).

I told him that he couldn't have, as there were no $50 notes in the till (I was lying, in fact there were quite a few).....

......he quickly drove off.

I almost got scammed by two guys while I was working at a grocery store.

First guy buys a pack of gum and pays with a $20 bill. No big deal.

Second guy buys a drink, pays with a $10 bill, I gave him the change, says he gave me 20 and to prove it, I can check the markings made on the 20 in my drawer. Sure enough, it said "Daddy's."

I start to give him more change but instead I stop and say, "Let me get my manager to count this for me."

He left before my manager made it to the register.

Handed me a $100.00 bill with markings on it. Then said I gave him a $10.00 biil back after he changed his mind on a cheap mp3 player. Dipstick wanted to argue with me.......told him how stupid he was and that if he wanted to go for it that I would be happy to come over the counter for him. Thats when he left...

I didn't post it, but wish you could hear it as well.....guy was pretty dumb.
