My favorite Christian album! They eloquently proclaim the Kingdom of Christ! I remember seeing this tour in Houston back in the early 80s. I sat on the second row, center seat. Good times.
Why then do the old scriptures speak of the Branch who would come, and be born in Ephratah (Beth-lehem)? This is the same one who is also known as the Son of David. That's the same Jesus, who people worshipped as God, and who claimed to be the very same I AM who appeared to Moses. He claimed that all power in heaven and earth was given to him by the Father. So yes, there is all power in him.

So cool. I'm not a fan of rock, but I love the classic 70's 80's and 90's pop rock. I would listen to the secular stations, but the lyrics are not the best. Music like this I have never heard before. haha
ohh nice :) i remebered my neighbours had all albums, but at that time i didnt care like i do now :( i live in sweden so its not that easy to get albums or see them
haha well thats life in a funny perspective i guess :PP Hope its not a Volvo thtas so cliche, alot off ppl drove it in movies in the 80s doing commercial for it Volvo 240 lol like 95 % of the swedish ppl have it
Verily, I have a 740 Sedan ... and I'm not so much in love with it. It will never die (Unless you count the 7,089 times the battery's killed or that you can't drive it in the winter if there's 1/4 in of snow b/c it's RWD) but you can't do simple maintenance on it b/c the parts are foreign. Arg. :-S So, hoping for a Chevy next time.
haha the 740 :PP also an classic both the 240 and 740 is like u say immortal, i went off course and bought an citroen c5 -02 more problem than it was worth, my speed meter died on me thats like 450 euro :S on a vovlo u take a bit of steel tread and tadda its fixed ^^

They just don't make Christian Rock the way they used to. Not that I'm trying to rip on some of the newer stuff. I guess all I'm trying to say is, this song totally defines what Classic Christian Rock is. Thanks for posting this dude, God Bless.
Everyone should start hounding Christian radio stations to start playing Petra again. I love groups like Casting Crowns and Rush of Fools, but Petra started it all. We owe it to them.

@UnknownPetraFan .There will never be another Petra!There are a few bands today that can rock and praise.One of my personal favorite's are DecembeRadio.They are a great rock band with the message of Christ.They have a classic rock sound similar to the Black Crowes,Zepplin,AC/DC,Kansas,almost southern rock meets heavy blues.Check them out.
As a 15 year old, this particular song so lifted my spirit . . . . especially the live version on "Captured in Time and Space"!

Check out Christian music festivals- you can buy great CDs like this for super cheap! I stocked up on lots of Petra CDs at them. :D

Yea well the c5 is a very nice car to drive, also i got a dog and a girl so its needed with a big car :)
But like i said evrything that breaks costs like a small car do :(

Fix one thing, two things go wrong. That's the current problem.
How do the girl and puppy like the ride? "Going bye-bye" was a trip phrase that our dog could never turn down.

I remember seeing them on tour. I was standing in the front row. They had the sound up so loud the seats were shaking.
