@krod2152 The PCM is programmed to dump certain amounts of unburnt fuel into the exhaust to combust and allow easier turbocharger spool ups. Basically to avoid any form of lag; which is practically non existent in a stock TDO4-LR turbocharger of the SRT-4. It DOES backfire for a reason. Not JUST for show. This example in the video is a little over the top. He must have a very aggressive tune programmed in, for that loud of a report from the exhaust. A little bit overkill

@godseal2 well looks like almost every srt should be on a towing. Poping flame means one thing an almost or perfect mix of air/fuel. With a 2 step it helps but without a 2 step getting flames with a srt or another car means you got the right tune

@InfinityAudio I dont even know what to say to that I really dont mean to insult your intelligence when it comes to car son, I've been doing this a long time and can tell you right now that popping flames is bad for your car. When someones car shoots flames it's because they're running so rich that theres unignitied fuel flowing through the exhaust and that your exhaust is so hot it ignites the unburned fuel. It's takes on gradually for your piston rings to fail this typically happens to hondas.
