la masterall solo hay una ocasion de obtener a no ser que tengas un mastershark (un ticket para piratear)

la master ball la consigues en el principio del juego en la guarida del equipo magma o aqua depende de que juego sea... Quando llegas al final de la guarida hay quatro pokeballs y la que esta a la esquina es la master ball
