Most people that say that, are usually the ones who have never played the game in person. The graphics are actually a lot better than this recording of me playing. I made that recording using the built in game recorder for the Edison Carter Cheat device. It records at a really low bit rate, thus the graphics look degraded.

GTA LCS doesn't have sound when I played it on my 5.00 m33-6  It does hve sound on my old 3.03 OE-C but why now on 5.00 m33-6 it doesn't :( help plzzzz

Make sure your UMD driver setting is M33 Driver in the VSH menu. If that doesn't work, you could back up your memory card, and reformatting in the XMB. Then try GTA LCS again. Are you using ir shell to play your games by chance? There could be some settings issue, or maybe even a bad iso.

The Slim has double the onboard memory(64 MB) than the fat(32 MB). The slim can also do component video out to your T.V straight out of the box with the correct cables, which the fat cannot do. Those are the two biggest differences. However, the fat can do video out with the correct software, and a computer through wifi or usb. The fat supports more homebrew apps than the slim due to the slim not being able to support the 1.5 kernel on it's internal flash. The slims screen is a tad sharper too.

Cheat device currently will not work with any CFW 5.00 running on the slim. You would need a phat so that you can run devhook. That way you could run older firmwares that do support cheat device. If you really wanted to however, you could downgrade to 3.90 M33, then you could run cheat device on your slim.

If you are running 5.00 M33-6 on the psp phat then the answer is yes, but as for the psp slim, the answer is currently no. Let me know if you are using a phat, and I can send a prepackaged cheat device folder so that all you have to do to install it is drag, and drop the folder to your mem stick.

1.5 kernel will only run on the psp phat. If you have a phat then you need to download the 1.5 kernel add on for whatever M33 cfw you are using. If you have a slim, then the 1.5 kernel cannot run from your psps built in flash.

The game save version of LCS cheat device only works with psp firmwares 2.6 - 2.71. I know you have been having issues with getting your cheat device to work. Have you gotten a non patched version of LCS yet? If you want to be creative, and do something interesting. Try dax's new program "Leda" it's a legacy software enabler for psp slims that should allow your psp to run devhook. If you can do that, then you could easily emulate 2.6 firmware with lcs cheat device game save.

Since you already own the game. I would suggest downing an iso of the game that was probably ripped from a non patched version. That's the only thing left you can really do, and I bet that is your setback. As long as you followed my instructions with the zip file. You should be alright once you get the unpatched iso.

Did you enable plain modules in your advanced configuration in recovery. Try that first. My vsh file would not help you getting it to run, and since you are using a slim. Devhook wont work.

It should work on the non patched LCS umd. Rockstar patched the game after people were using the game for a downgrade exploit. So Cheat device wont work with that. It might be the iso too if thats what you are using.

Google edison carter cheat device. Download LCScheatdevice.prx. Drag and drop the prx plugin to the seplugins folder at the root of your memory stick. Shutdown your psp. Turn it back on while holding down the right trigger ( R1). This will put you into recovery mode. Enable the lcscheatdevice.prx, and you should be good to go. I would also recommend download pimp my garage portable so you can customize your vehicles. Let me now if that worked for you. If not I can help you further.
