can you explain how you keep getting "EXCELLENT" after each boss fight? i have seen your boss ownage videos and what not, but i killed the bat w/o takin damage and it did not say anything. is this do to emulator varients, or just bc i suck at getting to the boss?

You have to extend your whip at the right moment, as if it's a pose.

Specifically, it's if you have the whip fully extended when you collect the ball the boss drops. If you do it jumping in the air it's "Excellent!" or "Great!" but if you just stand on the ground it's "Good"
