Not a bad movie as far as disney sequels go but I don't think it was good enough to get the cinematic release it did, also I don't think it's a fitting lesson. The biggest war in Europe's history to date is happing just outside their door, I think I'd be pissed at her if she didn't understand when it's time to act like an adult.

For me, Wendy was always the one for Peter. Even in the 2003 version or in Hook, Wendy's grand daughter or daughter/s aren't for Peter.

The thing that amused me most in this movie when I was younger was that the narrator said that Wendy shouts back to him. :P Wendy's shout has to be the most pathetic shout I've ever heard. I also find it silly how Jane keeps addressing the dog as Nana II. There could have been better ways to script that, as I doubt you would call a dog you've had most your life Nana II all the time. :I

I just love how they set this during WWII, and they did it very well. It worked with everyones' emotion and the conflict at the time, like with Jane wanting to grow up (due to very adult situations). She is just the perfect character to put in a childish world like Neverland. It's one of the few Disney sequals that non-only can be stomached, but you can actually enjoy it.

This movie is my whole choldhood. I am seventeen, and still I cry like a baby everytime I see it. I love it so much! When I grow older, this - and the original Peter Pan movie - will be the movies that I whoe my daugher. i finished watching the first movie last night again after at least 10 years or more of not seeing it, i came to this cuz i was curious what they did with the "sequel" I'll be honest....I couldn't even sit through this at all, saw the first song......just couldn't do it.

I wish disney made movies again that everyone could enjoy, sure kids will love this, but many of the original disney movies from the 50s and all the 90s movies, were amazing to both children and adults, especially to music....
