@Kelzakian I'm just tired of people cruising youtube for videos where they think they need to tell people what the flaws are, like we arent aware of them or something, people go to the org to be put down or 'helped', i just want to share my stuff with friends, i make mistakes and i learn from them my own way. I'm not being defensive, im not like, attacking you or anything so dont feel that way, im a blunt guy. im just trying to point out if it isn't asked for, dont feel like you should give it.

@Kelzakian I highly recommend the video game openings like realta nua, unlimted blade works, hollow ataraxia etc if you can get your hands on them, the footage is stunning.

Thanks man, was gonna mostly work off the anime as its less stressful to attain. What video capturing system did you use to convert the footage into workable clips?

@Kelzakian I downloaded all the episode files as DivX encoded avi from bit torrent, i use adobe premiere pro so they were all accepted, i didnt need to convert anything, but when i do have files that it wont accept i use Winavi to convert them, it will convert almost anything really.

Ah ok cool. Cuz i been readin around the org recently on how to get good material and converting them to AVi if it wasnt that previously and then cutting clips apart from DVD or games or whatever.

My first 2 AMV's were so amateurally made so im learning the proper way :P

I've been editing for about 4-5 years now, my first amvs were horrendous. I still dont think im good now, but thats what keeps me going. The org has good tech advice but its full of bullies, whilst theres always better options for the technical side, theres nothing totally good, bad, right or wrong with AMVs, its all about opinion and progression and we're all different there. The only proper way is the way thats easiest and most enjoyable for you.

Aye, my first AMV was horrendous too. though i've only made 2, my second one (made like 3 months ago) is pretty decent, 2 human errors, alot of technical errors (like i use fraps to capture the clips, and its free atm, so it has that stupid icon), but my editting skill is improving alot. I just gotta learn to use my materials lol. Just recently got vegas / AAE

holy shit!!!!!!!!!!!!

you did a magnificent job with the graphic effects all throughout the video but the most noticable piece was all the transitions from clip 2 clip.

the way you worked in the magic ritual diagrams worked out well the constant masking of the vieo threw me off a little but not much and your choice of audio was brilliant.

you should look into becoming a special effects director/producer

I can't believe I never commented on this AMV before. This vid was what first brought my attention to Fate/Stay Night, which has become one of my favorite anime.

Anyways, the effects are great, and the song IS mind-blowing in my opinion. And the whole thing has a really creepy feeling to it.

But...why is it that everyone seems to go for Archer and Rin ? (Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't. ^^V )

I've never been too good at Fate videos really. I'll be remaking Scarlett but i think thats the only other one i'll be putting up. Its just that its so hard to find songs that fit it. It doesnt really seem to do well with modern american/british music and its rare to find a japanese song that stands out.
