  • Amazing. Horses look better in slow motion

  • Tooooooo slow

  • Theres just something about horse movement that is so mezmerising

  • So perfect...

Look at how the front hoof just misses the back one at 0:47!

That's how you know this was an animal perfected by god or something :)

  • Wow this horse can reach haha, bet this horse has a super bouncy trot

  • can I use this clip for a video I'm making? You'll get full credit!

  • Astounding.

  • its a trot. they way the legs are movin it looks like a standerbred..

  • @tuyry1 actually its a pace. close to the trot only instead of moving front left with back right then switch it goes left side right side. its very cool to see the difference in slow motion. X3

  • @LittleMustangMare This video is NOT of a horse pacing!

  • @amicusets whoops my bad watched again and noticed my mistake XP i am training a Missouri fox trotter and plan to own her soon so it's stuck in my head. but that exclimation was not needed you could have merely stated it and i would have rechecked my facts. and either way i would have found it wrong .

  • wow. talk about tracking up. that horse must have been trotting pretty fast.

  • Its amazing to see the impact when the hooves make contact with the ground!

  • because of where the shadows fall, you can't tell which leg is in front of the other. so quit arguing. :P

    beautiful movie.

  • That is an amazing view and to think how much weight a horse puts on its legs and hooves. The gaitat this pace is so amazingly beautiful. Thank you for posting this.

  • : if you watch the hooves rather than the legs, you can tell that it is a trot...at 0:12 the horse's left front leg passes in front of the right leg and at 0:40 the left rear hoof passes in front of the right back leg...

  • fascinating O.O

  • it's pacing...

you can tell 'cause trotting uses diagonal pairs of legs, wheras pacing uses left fore and left hind at the same time, and vice versa. This is a pretty awesome vid, I love to see any horse gait in slow mo!

  • This is a TROT, still cool :D:D:D

  • @Number1HorseyGal its a pace dumby

  • wow!!!

  • This is only a trot, lol, but still, cool

  • its not a trot, its a pace.

  • awsome vid it is so cool love it!!!!!

    5/5 and favorited + subscribe

    awsome job

  • I wish I could have seen the fronts touching down. Can anyone answer this question?

I notice the backs of all four fetlocks/sesamoids touch or scape the ground surface or at least come very close too it. Now in horseracing, horses tend to "rundown" far more often behind than in front. Why is that?

Does it have something to do with the different slope angles of the pastern/hoof in front compared to behind? or maybe the different shapes of the front(rounded)hoof compared to the backs(elongated)?

  • @dahoss65 i believe its because the back legs do more of the propelling and because they are put down with more force you get the touchung ground thing, but it could be just the way the legs move and structure and their position on the body.

IDK just my thoughts on it. Hope it helped!

  • It amazes me to think about how much weight those hooves and legs are taking. Fascinating to see how the horse evolved to do what it does! Thank you for presenting this video.

  • ah the pace such a beautful gate

  • @jcsbyrd36 That's not a pace!

  • @amicusets I'm sorry. I just realized that. My computer screen's dark and it's in blacl and white.. it was a bit hard to tell.
