This reminds me of when I got Scooby, my red doxy, a set of booties for outside, when the temps were in the 10s. He went flat on the floor, gave me a pitiful look, and simply refused to move ever again, lest I remove the offending booties from his precious feet. Dachshunds are hilarious!

I was watching this to cheer myself up because my dachshund has IVDD and just had spinal surgery and currently cannot use his back legs. Bad choice! My dog is paralyzed in his backlegs currently and there's a chance he'll never recover. LOL. BEING PARALYZED IS HILARIOUS. thanks for the laughs.

Our Dachshund Lucky done the same thing, We bought him a leash, he hates wearing a collar. He scrathes his neck until it bleeds so we just leave the collar off. We bought him a leash and was going to train him to walk like our last dachshund did. But we put it on him numerous times and he rolled over on his back and wouldn't move. He looked like rigor mortis had set in and he was still alive. We just gave up on the leash. He still hates his collar. But that's a Dachshund for you they all do it.
